We hope you had a nice holiday and are recharged for a new election cycle which will be consequential. We thank all of you who helped national Sister District and our chapter with a banner 2025. Let's build on that success.
Sister District South Bay (SDSB) continues to be a critical chapter for Sister District. Captain Donna Leacock reports that SDSB contributed almost 14% of the total fundraising for all 23 candidates ($88K) last year and a whopping 38% of the total fundraising for State Bridges ($54K).
These numbers reflect the power of collaboration that make positive change happen. Talking to your friends, family and neighbors about Sister District and the importance of state legislatures, hosting and attending events, making phone calls, writing postcards, bringing food and drinks to "FUNraisers", donating auction items, delivering cupcakes - the cumulative effect of every single action made an incredible impact.
The coming year will be challenging, but with everyone pitching in again we can reshape political power at the state level by holding onto blue seats, making inroads and flipping chambers.
