Josh Thomas is a Marine veteran, attorney, and lifelong public servant running for reelection in the Virginia House of Delegates. Raised in a small town with a strong tradition of service, he was inspired by his brother and 9/11 to serve in the Marines, leading in Afghanistan and the Middle East. Let’s help elect a fighter for justice, equity, and opportunity, powered by grassroots support, not big donors.

Sister District chapters are run by volunteers, but the national organization that gives us work and support requires funding to run. Sister District Headquarters researches districts, provides field, fundraising, and strategic support to key state legislative races, supports volunteer organizers, works with candidates who lost their races so they can run again and win, runs experiments on the most efficient voter engagement tactics, and participates in civic education about the importance of state legislatures.
When you donate to Sister District national organization, you help them help us empower voters, volunteers, candidates, and legislators to turn states blue.
The State Bridges program is fundraising for organizations in all key battleground states to help them build local political power. Your donation will be split across grassroots organizations in Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
When you donate to these organizations, you help lay the groundwork to make it easier to elect progressive state legislators in future elections. Read more about how our money makes an impact on the ground in 2024 report.
